The Journey -

1971

When It all began -

Dr. Anderson started his transit journey, coordinating a 15-professor task force on new concepts in urban transportation and was Chief Editor of the first two international conferences on Personal Rapid Transit (PRT), publishing 156 papers.

1976

NASA Advanced PRT Program -

Dr. Anderson briefed NASA headquarters on PRT in relation to a "NASA advanced PRT Program" and was asked by NASA official to chair their national advisory committee, elected as the first President of the Advanced Transit Association.
